SMART goals are very helpful in ensuring the success of the project. As a newcomer to a project management career, you may not be the person who initially set project goals, but you should be able to clarify and understand those goals. SMART goals; It helps you see the full scope of an objective, determine its feasibility, and define project success in a clear and concrete way.

All parties must be able to consistently achieve and agree on agreed-upon success criteria in order to avoid a scope shift (uncontrollable changes in the project scope) or an outcome such as the project not meeting expectations. OKRs take SMART goals a step further by combining a goal with more detailed metrics to determine a measurable outcome.
